Hudson Yards is a 28 acre development built on a platform over Penn Stations' working railroad track that butts up to the Hudson River in the heart of Manhattan. This megaproject is the largest architectural undertaking in the history of the United States, costing an estimated 25 billion dollars. Stephan Ross, a 77 year old billionaire property developer, owner of the Miami Dolphins and also The Related Companies, had the vision to develop this area. Groundbreaking started in 2012 and is expected to be completed in 2024.
The flagship building of this megaproject is 30 Hudson Yards.
